OOHHH!
It is sooo good! I love them and Perelandra is a very interesting what-if. They are all just really good and if like Lewis but find the Narnia books not challenging enough these are the next best thing.
It is kinda of a kids book, but it makes me laugh and I find it is good balance for after I read part of The Faerie Queen. For kids between 8-12 Dragon Rider is a good way to learn about obscure mythological creatures. Has any one read any of Patricia C.Wrede\'s books?
I have no clue what that is. I have started reading Daniel Deronda though and I am reading it because the movie had pretty dresses, does that say anything about me? :)
I love Wrede\'s books, she has a fantastic sense of humor. I think Sorcery and Cecilia is my Favorite.
Have any of you read C.S Lewis\'s Space Trilogy. Perelandra is one of my all time favorite books up there with Harry Potter, The Inheritance Trilogy, and LotR to name a few.
Hey, I am reading:
-St. Silouan the Athonite by Elder Sophrony
-Enlargement of the Heart by Arch. Zacharias
Noth books are closely integrated. there is a third book that follows on from Enlargement of the Heart, by Arch. Zacharias, but I havent started that until I finish the first two ..
All three books are based around the Spiritual Counsel of St. Silouan - the emphasis being bringing God into our heart - the Uncreated Light. Easy to read ... hard to accomplish I must add :)
\"Korean Intangible Cultural Properties - Traditional Handicrafts\" - very interesting stuff.
Dear All,
I was wondering if you could tell me if there is a book dealing specifically with the topic of clergy (Orthodox, Catholic, Other) serving in the military as chaplains, or in any other capacity, thoughout Christian history. I would love to read about that kind of ministry and if there is not a book dealing specifically with this subject, then I wish someone would write one. Surely at least someone in the RCC has written a book on this subject.

The book by my bed is Mary Called Magdalene by Margaret George. The book I carry around with me (like a security blanket) is A Terrible Love of War by James Hillman. It\'s amazing.
I\'ve read it, too, and enjoyed it. I read Fr. Joseph\'s blog as often as I can and I was able to hear him lecture at our church once. He\'s very personable and it was nice to meet blogger and author. Have you heard his podcasts at Ancient Faith Radio?
\"Syra\'s Scribbles\" by Syra Divine is a series of letters in which I share the intimate joys, fears and adventures taking care of my children and my mother. It includes the years I was a mother of two small children. My life is unique, but the daily Orthodox family experience is universal. The ISBN is 1-4241-9018-5
Here are the links to my book at amazon and my publisher\'s online bookstore which has the back cover:

I need to make myself a homepage to advirtise my book. Yet another thing to do!
\'The Mystical Theology of the Eastern Church\' by Vladimir Lossky.
I will be reading a few works of Olivier Clement (http://orthodoxwiki.org/Olivier_Clement) when they arrive
