Celebrating the 10th anniversary since its founding (1998) with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Maximos, the Byzantine Choir of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of PIttsburgh gave a concert in support of a lecture by Rev. Fr. Stelyios Muksuris entitled "The Transformative Power of the Desert: A Liturgical-Musicological Approach to Orthodox Christian Asceticism"
