This video presents Elder Paisios` divine qualities, witnessed by people having a close relation to him. You will watch people speaking upon miraculous healing of incurable diseases, upon his prophetic charisma, his ability to know who you are and what your name is, without been met before. Monk Paisios was born in Cappadocia (Asia Minor) at 1924 and reposed at 1994 at the age of 70. I should state that everything you are going to watch is only a slight part of his whole action. There are many video's referring to his life and miracles, unfortunately only in Greek and not translated till now -- as far as I know. (There are books translated, though).
There are two more monks, of similar spiritual condition, mentioned in the video: Elder Porfyrios and Elder Iakobos Tsalikis. There is also a brief reference to Elder Paisios` sayings. Sayings emanated by a submissive, humble, landless, faster hermit. By a human being that achieved to personificate love.
A last comment I should make, is that those three Saints of our times, are not the only recent blessed monks of the Greek Orthodox Church. Elder Iosif Vatopedinos is another recently reposed monk (2009) who achieved becoming a habitation of the Holly Spirit. And there are many other blessed monks, alive, insignificant socially though devoted to God, cloistering in hermitages and monasteries. Not only in the Athonian community but also in monasteries of the world, easily accessible to the faithful people, throughout Greece. Humble monks and priests, fasting in poorness willingly, hiding their charisma willingly, suffering in Jesus name and praying for the rest of us altruistically. Humble monks, who do not seek to present their spiritual development, and are never going to be known.
