Medieval Ambrosian chant in Greek.
Title: "Αινείτε τον Κύριον" (Praise the Lord - communion chant)
Performers: Greek Byzantine Choir
This piece is an archival recording of poor quality so I am not quite sure it will be of great interest to the majority of viewers. I did not initially intend to post it but decided to do so after a discussion with Samurai8989 on the nature of ambrosian chant and its modern interpretation. The chant itself is a byzantine sample of Ambrosian chant (hence the greek lyrics). It is a very rare recording done by the Greek Byzantine Choir. If anyone is interested in the exact byzantine counterpart, it is the Byzantine Chant "Praise the Lord from the Heavens" (watch?v=feu2owd0MsY), which is in english (I am also planning to post the greek original in due time).
