Far in the mountains of Caucasus, in Georgia, 2200 m above the sea level is located the ancient monastery of Lomisa St. George. Nowadays Elder Serapion lives there. He is well known for his healing power, but his best description would be the Teacher of the Jesus Prayer. Whoever dreams to learn this amazing practice should go and see him.

Im a young seminarian who is looking for others intrested in Monastic life, to one day start a Skete: "Protection of the Holy Theotokos Monastery" What an amazing banner to have above a community "Protection of the Holy Theotokos". Through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit God has shown me that only through the protection of the Theotokos can the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Canada thrive. It is his will that we establish a Monastary in which men and women strive to serve God with everything they have! This group is ment to help those intrested in this great task: decern, pray, and act on building a Holy community.
