Over 35 years ago Saint Sophia Camp was constructed on 66 acres in the San Bernardino Forest. During this time the ministry of Saint Sophia Camp has had a positive impact on thousands of young lives. Many past campers now serve on the Camp Committee and have children of their own who attend camp each summer. The Saint Sophia Camp Committee is made up of members from many Greek Orthodox parishes, including Saint Sophia, Saint Anthony, and Saint Katherine. Members of the committee work hard to make sure that camp continues to provide the kind of programs that will bond our youth and create lifelong friendships. www.saintsophiacamp.org

St. Nicholas Summer Camp is a program dedicated to presenting young people a living experience of the Holy Orthodox Faith, in their relationship with God and other campers in an uncluttered, natural environment. To accomplish this we will seek to bring young people to: • Awareness of self and fellow man • A broadening of their Christian life • A greater awareness of their religion • Good sportsmanship • Growth in personal relationships and personal responsibility • An appreciation of nature and a concern for the environment

This group is for all who have been to Camp St. Thekla in the past, are planning to go this year, are interested in attending, or all of the above. Camp St. Thekla is way better than any other Antiochian Orthodox Church camp(even though we're not supposed to compete)!!! We're relatively new, having started in 2004. We still keep the personal aspect by keeping the camp small. For more information go to http://www.campstthekla.comCheck out our Yahoo group if you haven't already at:http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CampStTheklaers/And what photos I have gotten around to uploading you can find at:www.photobucket.comUsername: CampStTheklaersPassword: theklarocks
