I was looking through some old posts in the coffee hour - and rather than bumping them up, I thought I would put in a spot for the not-so-new members to chime in. Sometimes it\'s hard to make the effort to greet newcomers, so perhaps this will make it easier for people to step up to the mike.

Blessed Sandblasted,
Wow - work as a corrections officer - that must be the toughest job on earth. How do you do it dear sir, I mean, it can\'t be easy to live with the threat of bodily harm on a daily basis. In my mind, to be a corrections officer is even more risky than as a police officer. You guys are the unsung heroes. I\'m sure there are some model inmates who do what they\'re told and never cause grief for the prison staff. Then there are those who have given up and cause much mayhem or those who are released from psychiatric wards because society doesn\'t want funds being released to run said institution. What is sad is the \"Out of sight - Out of mind\" mentality that today\'s society harbors. Not only the inmates suffer but the prison staff likewise. You have all my respect for taking on a sometimes very thankless job.
Humbly,
Tikhon
