Thanks Orthonut, I was going to say something but let it slide because Art has a propensity to go into esoteric points. I thought stating that it was of course wrong would be sufficient but I was of course ... wrong.
But if anyone did catch the show, they did refer to the Partarich as something to the effect as Pope to the Orthodox. They did say he's the spiritual leader of 300 million. Oh well, their hearts were in the right place. (cringes as he feels Art coming at him again for something someone else did)
I hope it makes some sort of call to action, perhaps Greece shouldn't fight Turkey's admission to the EU if equal rights and religious freedom can be encouraged.
That all aside, I pray that people see the history and beauty of Orthodoxy. I hope people love Bartholomew's humbleness. But most especially I hope and pray that this simple little news story brings someone closer to Christ.
