I think, as orthodox christians we should avoid reading rom.cath as well as protestant writings. except that we are rather adult in our faith. But why should we? Our faith is so totally different from rom/cath and protest. faith and we should try to nourish ourself on orthodox material, and there is plenty of it. Try google with \\"books orthodox\\" and you will find several online shops with orthodox literature.
