In a few of Spurgeon\'s discourses (available online), he comes across as a Catholic-hater and frequently uses the word \\"popery\\" derogatively. However, in other sermons he focuses on more general Christian issues such as man\'s lukewarmness to faith, his fallen nature etc.From what I can gather, he had a gift of clearly communicating his thoughts to listeners. So I guess selectively reading Spurgeon (and the others) as long as it doesn\'t conflict with Orthodox teaching is OK.
In the place where I live, its rather hard to find quality Orthodox material. So could someone point me to such resources available online.
