It is worth remembering that Lucifer, mentioned in Isaiah 14:12, cannot be confused with the person of Jesus Christ. The Greek Septuagint gives Lucifer\'s name as \\"eosphoros\\", meaning \\"bearer of the dawn light\\", yet the passage is quite clear: “ How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!
The pre-incarnate Christ is indeed referred to as the Daystar, and other similar light-filled terms, but it is abundantly clear that the Lucifer in Isaiah is a very different character.
Also, I have not come across the name Lucifer, Eosphoros, or any linguistic variant in any list of Orthodox saints, be they of Greek, Slavic or other origin. The Bishop Lucifer StGeorge refers to was a maverick, and not regarded as a saint, even by the Roman Catholic church.
