Technically this illusion is possible only when the spinning girl is far away. After all, the illusion relies on being unable to tell the difference between the near and far parts of the cycle.
Because of perspective, her outstretched leg will always appear larger on the near part of the cycle than on the far part. If she\'s \"far away enough\", the percent difference will be too small to notice.
Of course, if she\'s *too* far away then she\'ll be too small to see. So you have to strike a balance of sorts. :)
