Often (as in the case of Fr. Seraphim Rose, I think) it's not the PERSON'S actual sanctity that is the issue for me, but rather the motives and methods of the current-day proponents of that person. (As I commented on the thread about Fr. Seraphim's possible canonization.)
I\'m in Namees camp. If he\'s canonized, then glory to God! Please don\'t hijack a saint to slander a jurisdiction - that\'s a sin, and you\'re sending yourself straight to hell by doing it.
