I would be perfectly comfortable with his canonization IF it wasn\'t used by ultra-conservative Orthodox people as a battering ram against groups like the Greek Archdiocese. Often (as in the case of Fr. Seraphim Rose, I think) it\'s not the PERSON\'S actual sanctity that is the issue for me, but rather the motives and methods of the current-day proponents of that person. (As I commented on the thread about Fr. Seraphim\'s possible canonization.)
