Thread: Serbia
Drev I\'d like to suggest that you go and spread the Gospel in Kosovo perhaps then you can some to understand what Christian suffering means for these fellow Christians living over there. Perhaps you should be the one to explain to a Serbian mother why her retarded child, who was living in a Monastery for safety, was murdered and butchered when he went for a haircut. How you can find blame in any of these Serbian Orthodox people living in Kosovo for what these terrorist mafiosos did is disturbing! You cannot condemn or judge anybody but yourself and even then you\'ll probably be wrong and would be better off seeking the guidance of a Priest. Subsequently, if you sir are a victim to mafia or gang violence I would certainly hope you were not judging as being deserving of such a thing and simply shrugged off since you didn\'t go into crime ridden Albanian ghettos dispersing Al Qadea, Mujahadeen, Bin Ladin the KLA and anyone else who\'s got their hand in the pot!! It\'s not the job of a Serbian Orthodox family to do ANYTHING!! other than live a Godly life and set a Godly example of love. There are those people would not listen to the Gospel if a Holy Saint himself were reading it to them. I think what you are preaching is \"Lazy Boy Recliner\" Orthodoxy and I think it\'s only because you REALLY don\'t understand the problem or you don\'t really care.
What did our Lord and Savior do wrong to be Crucified?
Who did the mobs choose to die? What did they chant?
Why have been Christians and Godly men been persecuted for centuries?
There is no escaping the reality of this hateful and spiteful world we must endure! When our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ are suffering and in need it is our duty to love them and help them as best as we can as they ARE our fellow brethren IN Christ. Do not be so bold as to sit in condemnation of our suffering Serbian Orthodox! Your words would bring great pain and not joy and relief into the heart of any Orthodox mom who\'s seen her family raped or murdered, or of any Orthodox Clergy who\'s seen his village and Parish burned!
