I\'ve read some Orthodox articles that say God cannot be angry, sad, or even rejoice, since all of these things are passions, and God doesnt have passions. My Orthodox Study Bible says the wrath of God is simply the devine revelation of truth to those who have rejected it. Is this true? I mean, it does seem like God gets angry. Why would He have destroyed Sodam and Gomorrah with fire and brimstone, and turned Lots wife to a pillar of salt if He couldnt get angry? What would even the purpose be of doing these things if God didnt get angry? And again, throughout Scripture, the fury of God and His vengeance are mentioned. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you and God Bless†
