Back in 2011, I was fortunate enough to see the icon when it came through Oregon. It wasn't schedule to come to my city. However another parish near Portland cancelled their viewing so the people called the ROCOR parish in my town and asked if they'd like to have it for the day. They said yes and was kind enough to let the other mid and south Willamette Valley parishes know of the icon's presence. It was truly a blessed day. The scent from the icon stayed with me for several HOURS that day!
