New Christian martyrs of Orthodox Church in the former Soviet Union. Saints murdered by red bolsheviks (communist NKVD) during Lenin´s and Stalin´s rule. Marxist persecution of the Christians in the USSR (thousands of monks, priests, clergy and laymen were murdured, shot or deported into concentration camp, thousands of Orthodox churches were bombed, vandalized and desecrated and turned into storage houses or sports halls). This was the biggest mass persecution of the Christians - the Christians Church ever experienced yet since times of Diocletion and early Roman Church. 1920 s - 1930 s sent dozens of thousands of Christians martyrs into heaven. Second World War came as punishment upon godless and antichristian Soviet communist regime for its horrifying crimes against the Holy Orthodox Church.
