I learned this method in Bible college, taking extra classes. I was attracted to it because it does not lead one to the "Protestant" doctrines and it does not impose a false grid of interpretation upon the text. The Bible IS literature: a literary grid emerges from the text naturally.
I hope to find more people interested in this pursuit at a Bible as Literature conference this winter.
This is not a Bible study group, per se. It is a group on one's findings as they study it as lit, and of how to do so.
Please share and ask for resources.

This group is designed for the parishioners of Metamorphosis Tou Sotiros Greek Orthodox Church in Toronto, Canada, to participate in our weekly Bible Study/Catechism classes, but anyone else is free to join and participate. The books we are using are from the series The Orthodox Faith by Fr. Thomas Hopko, found online at: http://www.oca.org/OCorthfaith.asp?SID=2
Classes are held every Tuesday, therefore questions, comments and discussions on the lesson of the week may be posted on the Tuesday of the lesson up to and including the following Monday. Every Tuesday there is a new class and therefore a new series of discussions begins.
