Newbie

I never know what to say when introducing myself by text, which is really to everyone at once, and no one in particular. I don\'t know what you want to know. So... I\'ve been Orthodox for about two years now. Still learning. Love theology, church history and Byzantine chant. I am the perpetual student, I study all kinds of things. Some more in depth than others of course, but you\'d be hard pressed to find a subject that I don\'t find interesting. Though, specifically, I\'m finishing a double major in art history/architecture and philosophy this May. I like to spend time outdoors camping, hiking or just hanging about. I\'ve been known to insist on playing frisbee upon being told that it\'s raining, and love watch thunderstorms roll in. I\'m an artist, a bookworm and a news junkie. I read, write and sift through headlines all day long (around work and school, of course). And, I\'m (almost) never without my Moleskine, camera & MacBook. And recently, I\'ve fallen hard for weight lifting. I don\'t really have an explanation for that. It just happened. So, um, yeah...hi, I\'m Joyce.
