This is a just a short introduction of myself to thew Circle. I am a recent arrival in orthodoxy it now being but two years since my Chrismation.
Prior to that i was an Anglican of some twenty five odd years and also a foreign language editor with the Bible Society.
Why did i embrace Orthodoxy? I think that i wouyld really have to say that it embraced me and it just look me quite some time to notice that it had.
Anyhow here I am as we go into Lent for this year. Pray for me, that i may grow in the faith

My friend,
Welcome and let me tell you what a Greek friend told me when I was ordained. He said, \"Fr. John, people will fail you, priests will fail you, Bishops.....Bishops will especially fail you. Don\'t lose heart. When you are standing in the sanctuary, and its filled with incense, and the choir is chanting, and Christ is present on the altar, you will know why you are there and why you became Orthodox.
And so it is.
