I'm originally from Skipperville, AL. It's a small town in southeast Alabama. More of a community really. We have a caution light, a gas station, and a county school. Had a total of 36 people in my graduating class. I'm living in Charlotte, NC right now, but we are moving to Hattiesburg, MS next week. My wife and I just got Chrismated a couple of weeks ago. We were both raised protestant. The journey to Orthodoxy has been a long one, but it finally feels like we're home. :)

Welcome home! I was baptized on Lazarus Saturday this year, too! I also come from an protestant background. I'm learning that the journey into Orthodoxy doesn't stop when you join; the further you go the more there is to explore. :)
