I grew up watching these Saturday morning cartoon fillers (they came on instead of commercials) and discovered that they continued making them after I had stopped watching Saturday morning cartoons...
This is one of the \'later\' ones which I hadn\'t seen when I was a kid. I wonder how many people have missed the series altogether??

We had to recite the Preamble in Civics Class. I discovered I already knew it from Schoolhouse Rock. So, while everyone else was sweating it out trying to memorize it, I just procrastinated and sang the SHR version right there in class!

We borrowed the video from our library! You can also download them on iTunes. I watch them with our son.

Hey! I just went to watch that video and boy that was cute! I guess I\'m going to give my age away but when I was a kid, Schoolhouse Rock wasn\'t on yet. Seems I really missed some things!

I feel very old. When I was a child television was non-existent or in its infancy. By the time \\"Ding, Dong, School\\" came along, I was way too old for it.
My older son did teach himself to read at age three from \\"Electric Company\\" (big surprise to me when I noticed he could read!) but neither of my children ever saw \\"Schoolhouse Rock.\\"
It wasn\'t entirely a vast wasteland...

This is one I missed; nor do I remember it at all! There are a multitude of cartoons I do remember however. most of them are the products of Hanna-Barberra.

I remember watching these. Thanks for the flashback! My favorite was how a Bill becomes a Law.

Ah Schoolhouse Rock, there\'s a stroll down Amnesia Lane.. I really enjoy the send up of SHR on The Simpsons though.
