Hi everyone, I hope this is the best place to post this question. Despite the subject, the question I am asking is one of etiquette in the Liturgy, not one of theology: namely, during the Great Entrance should I be turning to follow the cross at the front of the procession or the priest carrying the sacrament? I have been an Orthodox Christian for about 8 years now but this is one question I always forget to ask and one that I can never quite figure out. I seem to recall that in the Antiochian church I was Chrismated in, we were taught to follow the priest when we turned as he was holding the sacrament. However, my memory is shaky and I wonder now if this was just something I assumed on my own. In the Greek church I currently attend, the majority of the congregation tend to follow the cross being carried at the head of the procession...but not all of them. Often, some of the older members will turn with the priest instead. So, my question is, is this something that a lot of the younger generation are not really taught and they simply follow the cross when they should be following the priest, or is this something which doesn't even matter as long as we turn with the procession and cross ourselves when the priest passes by, etc? Or does it fall into the realm of individual interpretation of worship? Probably not a huge issue, just one that always puzzles me and makes me wonder if I am doing it \"correctly\". Any thoughts would be appreciated. Many blessings,
Senan
