As for the question: How do you not let your profession define you?
It\'s been said too often, but hopefully it doesn\'t detract from the truthfulness of the words: \"We are human beings, not human doings\"

Because the man is a beast on the field, and so timid and kind in person. He doesn\'t let his on-the-field mentality be who he is, like some of the other players.
