I have another crazy idea! They tear down buildings all the time and never recycle the materials. I saw a guy the other day throwing away good lumber. Let\'s collect salvageable masonry and stuff and build sweet Orthodox churches with it. Then we\'ll save lots of money! I thought about doing that to build a house on the cheap.

You know, that\'s a pretty good idea....

Better to build houses out of recycled materials. One shouldn\'t cut corners when building churches as they\'re meant to glorify God and we should only give the best to God.

I wouldn\'t cut corners when building a church. I just think it\'d be a good idea to use materials that would otherwise be wasted. It costs less, enabling me to use solid masonry and does the environment a favor. Besides what is more not cutting corners than building a traditional Orthodox church out of solid masonry?
You do have a really good point though. We should give our best to God. I\'d rather live in a small plain house and worship in a really beautiful cathedral than vice versa.
