Christmas gone?

We leave them up until Theophany or longer depending on our schedule. One year they were up till February because they were covering up a broken mirror on the wall.

I think we should make up a new word: corate- after all, it\'s the opposite of \"decorate\" I don\'t remember when we took down our decorations last year. Probably near the middle of January. For awhile, it was our tradition to get the house all nicely decorated and then leave on some unplanned road trip to spend Christmas somewhere else.

Following Irish tradition, we leave them up until St. Ida\'s day (Jan 15, New Calendar), as she is my mother\'s patron.

We leave ours up until the start of Great Lent, so sometime in February is when ours come down :)

Almost Lent too!!! Besides, winter is so gloomy without them!
