Hmmm... I am not good with giving gifts. Or even worse with thinking about what to get for people..
I really like those mini-sets, tiny little 2 by 2 boxes that they often sell in bookstores near the registers. They can contain all sorts of little things. My favorite one is a little ink and pen set for calligraphy.
(I bought a few on discount).
I give them to \"tweens\" or teenagers.
I think my next best gift idea... is a Target giftcard. Everyone can use them as they please..(At the same time I am saddened to admit I put so little effort in seeing what others could use or would like. I am obviously not honoring their individualism by giving them the easy way of \"choice\")..
Something to think about for me...
I didn\'t really get anyone anything cool for Christmas, but I paid off my car loan today. We are debt free now. Not a very exciting gift, but it\'s nice to be free to give more freely to where God wants it to go.
Since my wife might use this thread to shop for me.... :)
I think the collest gift I have found for someone cannot be mentioned here, so she won\'t take my idea.... :)
Then again, if its for me.....

My grandma collects eggs. About a year or so ago, I visited the OCA cathedral in Miami for two months during the summer (long story).
At their bookstore, they had some hand painted eggs that one of the parishioners had brought back from Romania.
I gave my grandma, I believe, four or six eggs for Christmas. She loved them.
