15 years ago I went on an OCMC (Orhtodox Christian Missions Center) trip to Poland. I am embaressed to admit that in my ignorance I didn\'t know that there were Orthodox in Poland. I later learned that they didn\'t know there were Orthodox in America. :)
It was a great experience for me to see how others experience Orhtodoxy. Have any other OC members been on mission trips? Please share your experiences.

I was a member of a non denom protestant mission agency and worked in Southwestern Ethiopia for about 9 years.

Mission trips....not yet! But I do work with a priest from a mission Church to help do evangelism, especially through the OCF at my alma mater.

I\'ve gone to Project Mexico four times, the first was before the Orphanage opened. All of them were an awsome yet eye oppeing experience. I never experience such poverty as the streets and neighborhoods around Tijuana. WOW. It changed how I live my American life.
