Hello, I'm 27 and in Houston, found this through discord while trying to search for an orthodox girlfriend. Didn't realize how extensive this site is and all it has to offer. Looking forward to exploring some things and deepening my understanding hereif anyone in the app is in Houston or Texas please say hello, don't be a stranger :) 

Greetings! I'm hoping there are still people who use this site regularly. I would really like to meet people who say morning and evening prayers, attend services regularly, and are devoted to Orthodoxy as a way of life. Please be my friend. :innocent:

Thank you, Cristin! I actually spent a couple of days in Bucharest in May 2008 while traveling around Europe with a friend. At the time, I didn't know what Orthodoxy even was but kept finding myself drawn into all of these beautiful churches, thinking they must be Catholic. I think I even lit candles and venerated icons, having no idea what I was doing! My friend was atheist so she wasn't quite as excited but thankfully she let me keep dragging her into the churches. :smile:
